Coal City Film Festival is back for 2022.
Mr. Uche Agbo, the Founder and Executive Director, hinted that in line with the goal of the festival which is opening the doors of southeast Nigeria to the rest of the world, increasing cultural tolerance, boosting tourist potentials and creating a tailor-made capacity building, the festival has designed a special plan tagged #RoadToCCFF2022. The plan will enable the organizing team to create a more unique film experience for attendees.
Coal City Film Festival is an international film festival by all standards and we will continue to invent new ways of making networking and film business opportunities in the festival more robust.
The theme for the 2022 edition slated to hold from 24th to 26th March 2022 is GLOCALIZATION OF AFRICAN CINEMA
Our goal is to not create conversations around how we can continue to tell authentic African stories while maintaining the best International practices.
CCFF 2022 will have a lot more content added to last edition classes, panel discussions, tours, and award ceremonies.
We are also calling on well-meaning Brands and organizations to identify with this project as we seek to democratize film events in Nigeria by creating a standard International film festival outside of Lagos and Abuja.
